Vayang Rolling Hills

Sweeping highlands on the western coast of Batan Island where emerald pastures spill toward dramatic sea cliffs. Nicknamed the Marlboro Hills of Batanes, this open meadow is grazed by free-roaming cattle and horses, with the South China Sea framed between the ridgelines. Sunrise and late afternoon light paint the hills in a constant shift of shadow and gold.
