Valugan Boulder Beach

Instead of sand, this extraordinary beach on Batan's eastern shore is blanketed in thousands of smooth andesite boulders expelled by Mount Iraya's ancient eruptions. The constant churning of Pacific waves against these stones creates a haunting percussion. A raw, volcanic landscape like nowhere else in the Philippines.
