Tubbataha Reef Natural Park

Cagayancillo, Palawan, MIMAROPA

A remote UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Sulu Sea — two atolls reachable only by liveaboard from Puerto Princesa during the limited March–June season. The reef has no permanent residents and access is capped by permit. The diving is among the finest in the world: wall dives with hammerheads circling below, manta ray cleaning stations, and coral density that serves as the baseline for what Philippine reefs looked like before overuse. It is the standard against which all other Philippine reef dives are measured.
