Sugba Lagoon

A brackish inland lagoon in the mangrove-fringed northwest of Siargao, reached by boat through narrow tidal channels where water shifts from green to deep teal the further you penetrate inland. The lagoon's far bank is a sheer limestone cliff; a floating platform in the middle serves as a jump point into water that holds its color regardless of weather. The 45-minute boat ride through the mangroves is as beautiful as the lagoon itself.
