Seven Lakes of San Pablo

Seven volcanic crater lakes ring the hills of San Pablo City—Sampaloc, Bunot, Calibato, Palakpakin, Pandin, Yambo, and Mohicap—each with its own color and depth. The lakes are connected by barangay roads and footpaths. Kayaking from one to another on a quiet afternoon, with coconut farms framing every shoreline, is one of Laguna's great underappreciated pleasures.
