Sarangani Bay National Park
Sarangani, SOCCSKSARGEN
A protected seascape of over 200,000 hectares in the Celebes Sea, one of the most biodiverse marine corridors in the western Pacific. The bay is a migration route and feeding ground for whale sharks, manta rays, and cetaceans including sperm whales; coral gardens along Sarangani Island hold extraordinary density. Sport fishing for black marlin draws international anglers, and the wider bay is one of the last places in the Philippines where the full scale of open-water marine life remains intact.
