Port Barton

A fishing village on Palawan's northwest coast functioning as El Nido's quieter, less-photographed cousin — similar geology (limestone islands, turquoise lagoons), substantially fewer visitors, and a genuinely local pace. The island-hopping circuits include Exotic Island, German Island, and the mangrove rivers of San Vicente; the sunsets from beachfront cottages, with outriggers crossing the bay, are among the least-remarked and most beautiful in Palawan.
