Patar Beach

Bolinao, Pangasinan

A long crescent of white sand facing the open South China Sea, backed by natural limestone rock formations that serve as a quiet breakwater at the northern end. The water is clear and shallow for long stretches, and the infrastructure is minimal—a welcome contrast to the more developed beaches further north. The nearby Enchanted Cave offers a brackish limestone pool to swim through when the ocean turns rough.
