Patapat Viaduct

A 1.3-kilometer coastal bridge clings to the cliffside at Pagudpud's eastern edge, connecting the Ilocos Region to Cagayan Valley. The road curves dramatically over the sea, framed by mountain jungle on one side and the open Pacific on the other. The most photogenic stretch of the Maharlika Highway—arguably the most scenic coastal drive in all of Luzon.
