Pagsanjan Falls

Three-drop waterfall deep in the Laguna jungle, famously used as a film location in Apocalypse Now. It is reached by shooting the rapids upstream in a narrow dugout banca, guided through canyon walls by experienced boatmen—the journey is the experience as much as the falls. The optional raft ride through the cascade at the base is terrifying in exactly the right way.
