The highest peak in CARAGA at 2,012 meters, a forested mountain whose difficult two-day ascent rewards with summit views across the full breadth of the CARAGA plateau — the Agusan River valley, the Pacific coast, and on clear days the silhouette of Siargao Island far to the northeast. The mossy cloud forest holds pitcher plants, tree ferns, and endemic orchids; the summit is cold enough at night to require a sleeping bag — a rare sensation anywhere in the tropical Philippines.
