Lulugayan Falls

A 70-meter single-drop waterfall tumbling into a broad pool deep in the rainforest behind Calbayog City. The force of the fall is exceptional during and after the monsoon, when the water turns the color of café au lait and the spray carries 50 meters into the forest. The two-hour hike through forest passes through communities where children attach themselves to your group as informal and remarkably expert guides.
