Legazpi Sunday Market

Every Sunday morning, the Legazpi Village parking lot transforms into Metro Manila's most reliable food market — a hundred stalls of artisanal producers, specialty food vendors, and home cooks selling directly to the city's most food-literate buyers. The regulars include a heritage rice specialist, a Batangas tawilis stall, Pampanga longanisa from a family who have been coming for fifteen years, and the best ensaymada in Manila from a retired pastry chef. It closes at 2 p.m.; the serious regulars arrive after noon.
