Kayangan Lake
Reached by a steep stone staircase cut into the limestone cliff above Coron Bay, Kayangan Lake is consistently ranked among the clearest inland waters in Asia — its visibility is so exceptional that swimmers appear to float unsupported above the submerged rock formations. The lake is a former volcanic crater filled with layered fresh and salt water, creating a visible thermal interface about 8 meters down. The view from the top of the staircase over Coron Bay and its limestone towers loses nothing in person.
