Dumaguete Boulevard
Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, Central Visayas
The palm-lined seafront promenade of the "City of Gentle People" stretches along Dumaguete's Rizal Boulevard, lined with a century-old row of food stalls, milk tea shops, and cafés that animate at dusk when university students pour out from nearby Silliman. The famous sans rival — a cashew meringue-and-buttercream cake invented here — is best chased with a cold buko pandan drink while watching pump boats cross to Cebu on the horizon. The boulevard is Dumaguete's living room.
