Cresta de Gallo
Cajidiocan, Sibuyan, Romblon, MIMAROPA
A tiny uninhabited island off the coast of Sibuyan in Romblon, reached by 30-minute banca ride, with a sandbar of extraordinary whiteness and a reef accessible in 20 meters of paddling from shore. The island has no fresh water, no shade structure, and no facilities β day-trippers bring everything and take everything away. The Sibuyan Sea surrounding it is one of the least-trafficked stretches of water in the Philippines, and the silence at midday, with only the sound of the reef and occasional seabird, is total.
