Cambugahay Falls

Lazi, Siquijor, Central Visayas

A three-tiered cascade of teal-blue freshwater tucked into the inland jungle of Siquijor, reached by a steep staircase lined with hanging roots and flowering vines. Each pool is just deep enough to swim in, and a rope swing over the second tier has launched a thousand backpacker photographs. Unlike the island's reputation for folk magic, Cambugahay is thoroughly playful — a place where afternoons dissolve into river floats, shared snacks, and the soft roar of falling water.
