Buntod Reef Marine Sanctuary

Buntod Reef Marine Sanctuary is a stunning marine protected area just a few kilometres off Masbate City, accessible by bangka from the city wharf. A pristine white sandbar emerges at low tide alongside a thriving coral reef teeming with colourful reef fish, sea turtles, and diverse marine invertebrates. The sanctuary is one of Masbate's most beloved natural attractions, offering snorkelling, beachcombing, and a peaceful escape from the provincial capital.
