Britania Islands
San Agustin, Surigao del Sur, CARAGA
Twenty-four small islands and islets scattered across a lagoon in San Agustin — the collective effect of limestone outcrops, sandbars, and reef channels looks more like Palawan than Mindanao. Island-hopping by banka threads between them in a half-day, with stops for snorkelling, sandbar walking, and watching the light change on the limestone faces. Infrastructure is deliberately minimal; most visitors camp on the beach under a tarp, which is entirely the point.
