Bangui Windmills

The first commercial wind farm in Southeast Asia stretches nine kilometers along Bangui Bay. Twenty 70-meter turbines stand in a row along the coast, their blades turning against the backdrop of the Babuyan Channel. One of the most striking industrial-meets-natural landscapes in the Philippines—best seen at dusk when the sky turns violet behind the silhouettes.
